Our commitment
Woodstock Vitamins is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

Current status: We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance as part of our ongoing site rebuild. This page will be updated as conformance is achieved and audited.
Measures We Take

Woodstock Vitamins takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy on all pages
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • All images include descriptive alt text
  • All interactive elements are keyboard accessible and have visible focus states
  • Forms include clearly associated labels and error messages
  • Videos include captions where applicable
  • The site is navigable without a mouse, using keyboard alone
  • We do not rely solely on color to convey information
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. Known areas we are actively improving include:

  • Some older product images may lack descriptive alt text — we are auditing and updating these
  • Third-party embedded content (payment processors, review widgets) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control
  • PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible — we are converting these to accessible formats

We are committed to addressing these issues as part of our ongoing site rebuild.

Assistive Technology Compatibility

This site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
  • High contrast display modes
  • Voice recognition software

We test our pages using automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard testing. If you experience difficulties with any assistive technology, please contact us.

Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Woodstock Vitamins website. If you experience any barriers, please let us know and we will do our best to address it promptly.

Response time: We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 2 business days and to resolve issues within 10 business days where possible.

Assessment & Review Date
